Hello Karen

I hope you are the correct person to ask this question to.

I am hoping to juice cabbage as I have always had rather bad heartburn and I understand that daily drinking of cabbage juice for several weeks can be helpful and even cure the oesophagus of imflamation or ulcers.

I have a Philips Juicer which hopefully will do the job.

Could you please help with the following questions?

Will white cabbage do, or does it have to be some other kind of cabbage?

How much juice should I drink?  I plan to drink say half a mug- full say 3 times a day.  I practiced juicing a small cabbage earlier today and it didn't produce much juice.  How many cabbages am I likely to need!

Would it be a good idea to juice on one day for the whole week - and keep the juice in the fridge?  Will the juice still be effective after a week?

Juicing cabbage is brilliant and I suppose it doesnt matter the colour. Juicing requires lots of the raw product of any fruit or vegetable. The only thing I would make you aware of is , if you cannot digest raw veg then the juicing cabbage will pose a problem so be aware.I would juice as required as the amino acid l glutamine is the proponent part that aids your discomfort, always better fresh so to speak
