Question
I was diagnosed with ALS about five months ago.  My symptoms have been worsening.  Alternative medical treatments I am taking at this time include the wet cell battery treatment and chinese herbs.  They haven't seemed to be so effective yet.  Do you have any recommendations.  Thank you

Answer
Yes, we find eliminating all poultry, farm fed fish, vegetable oil chips, peanut products, trail mix, granola, flax, soy and artificial sweeteners help our patients with ALS and augmentation with adequate omega-3 fish oil to normalize the monocyte count and CRP test. see http://efaeducation.nih.gov for the toxicity of plant oil in the diet
