Question
Hello Imran

I have a question for you about how to deal with adult acne. I have been suffering from this condition since the age of 21 until now at the age of 26. It is wreaking havoc of my skin, leaving scars and pits. It is very emotionally damaging as well, and I would give anything to have it go away. I have tried everything from antibiotics to topical skin creams, as well as accutane. Accutane cleared it up for about a year but it has come back. I don't want to go on Accutane again as it was really hard on my body and I don't think the side effects are worth it. Now I take flaxseed and borage oil, a good multivitamin and Greens +, but it still doesn't seem to help. I eat very well, trying to eat as much organic as possible and avoiding processed foods. I use tea tree oil and Dr. Hauschka skin care products (which are very expensive and don't really seem to make a difference either). I am at my wits end and desperate to get control over my skin. I know wonder if my acne is a result of something that is going on inside of me emotionally? Any help or advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and I look forward to your reply, Lesley

Answer
Dear Lesley,

Thank you for writing. Forgive the delay in response, your email took a while to get to me from allexperts.

I will give you a simple protocol to clear up the acne, and it should help the scarring as well.

I am glad you are eating organic foods, and very glad you have stopped the accutane. It would be advisable to stop taking the multi vitamins, as the store bought tablet forms are synthetic and toxic. Greens + is something you can also do without. There are supplements available that are much better, and are almost half the price.

In regards to supplements, please replace with this one instead: http://www.tryfrutavida.com/main
It will do far more for you.

You would take 2 ounces daily. Divide the dose; 1 ounce twice daily, 10-15 minutes before a meal. Now, here is something interesting; you should apply this liquid to the acne affected areas, every night just before bed. Rub it in generously. This will increase the speed at which the acne heals, and the scarring should diminish as well.

It is a good idea to have a shower in the evenings, about an hour before bed. One therefore gets into bed clean. A lot of people take a shower in the morning, are out at work all day, the body sweats, gets dirty, dead skin cells are shedding, and then they come home and go to bed with all of this. It is not hygienic and therefore not recommended.

A note: cold showers are the absolute best in regards to ones physiological health.

Together with taking the nutritional super food above, and applying it to your skin, you should do oil pulling every morning to clean your blood and lymphatic system, and if you can take a good probiotic supplement. I recommend I-Flora. It is available online... search for it.

Please research "oil pulling" on google, and begin with it immediately.

I have altered the oil pulling therapy slightly to improve results; Use regular sunflower oil; swish for 10 minutes. Spit out the toxic oil, and then take in another tablespoon of oil, and swish for another 10 minutes. Spit it out. Then brush your teeth and rinse your mouth well. When you spit the oil out, do so directly into the sink drain and flush with hot water.

Do not swish for 20 minutes straight as most people recommend, as the oil pulls up toxins and harmful microorganisms within 10 minutes. Therefore ten by two.

The rest of the details will be found by doing a search on Oil Pulling...this will give background on the therapy and so on.

You need to take the i-flora because you have taken antibiotics, which have most likely destroyed most of your beneficial intestinal flora. The i-flora will provide 16 strains and this will really help in preventing the growth of harmful bacteria.

The nutritional supplement will provide natural vitamins, anti oxidants and will rebuild your immune functions.

General recommendations:

Cut out all soy products, soy causes thyroid degradation. Cut out pasteurized milk, take only certified organic or raw milk.

Cut out all artificial sweeteners: splenda, sucralose, aspartame, nutra sweet, equal, spoonful, saccharin, acesulfame potassium, sorbitol, cyclamate, alitame. These sweeteners are toxic.

Make sure you read labels on all products before you purchase. Make sure you avoid everything that says "sugar free" on it.

Cut out the use of microwaves, they lower haemoglobin levels, deteriorate immune functions and produce high numbers of radiolytic compounds in foods. Replace your microwave with a nuwave oven when you can.

Avoid all hydrogenated oils, avoid margarine, canola, rapeseed, and soybean oil.

Replace with butter, ghee, unrefined coconut oil, sesame oil, and virgin olive oil.

7-10 glasses of water per day is a good idea to help flush out toxins from the body. Warm or room temperature water, never cold. Never drink tap water or distilled water. Remember, drink purified water only.

If you are using toothpaste that contain fluoride, please replace with a herbal toothpaste that is fluoride free.
If you have dental (mercury) amalgams---get them removed by a dentist who knows how to remove them.
Never agree to silver amalgams either, as they are 50% mercury. The dentist must provide a bio-agreeable material
as a filling.
