Alternative Medicine/Adult ADD

Question
Hi,
I'm a 44-yr-old, African-American female, and ADD has become increasingly problematic for me over the years. My blood type is O pos., I am 5'4" and 150 lbs. I am also diagnosed with depressive & panic disorders. My primary ADD issues are impulsiveness, inability to stay focused (alternating with hyperfocusing on certain topics or tasks), and agitation/impatience with people or processes that don't go at the rapid speed my mind seems to be going at 24/7. I've also had terrible insomnia for years. I am not physically hyperactive, just mentally so. I'm concerned because I want to go back to college, but fear I can't handle it because my ability to read (as opposed to just rapidly skimming), follow instructions and retain information has eroded badly. I've been looking at several natural products, and have just gotten confused by what's out there. I've read about Attend, Flavay, Focus ADDult, BrightSpark, BeCalmed... Are you familiar with these? Are there any real differences? All of the manufacturers, of course, claim great results. How do I know what's the right one for me, if any at all? Thank you for your time!
