I have been searching for alternative methods to treating my infertility and I have been advised to seek a Reiki practitioner -- "the energy which is used to CREATE in our lives, can have an effect on whether or not your reproductive (creative) organs will work properly. A Reiki or Therapeutic Touch practitioner would quickly spot an energy imbalance, and can assist to restore that balance".

What can you tell me about this and should I find someone locally or is this something you can help me with.

Most of our physical problems are comming from external interfering with our energy body.
We are surounded by a auric energy field that is fed by our chakras. Some time our chakra stop doing them job, partly or compled, and within a short time we get serious ill.
This can have two reason:
Our aura is attaced by external energy, that weakened our chakra, or it can have internal reasons, comming from, bad intake of the wrong food, or breathing the wrong air, or virusses and bacteries. Or it can be of all of this at one time. So if we are aware of a weakening of our aura, we can start instandly working on this by aplying energy to our aura. In this way we can avoid that our chakras get weakened. This weakening of the chakras can couse energy imbalances an blockages, that will make us ill.
To be able to do this by yourself will give you all the time contole and you can instently start working on your self.
But if you got cronical blockages it takes a professional therapist to remove them.
In your situation, it looks like the inbalance in your body is of minor importance but it has on a social, mental and emotional level tremendous influence.
Your blockage could a minor imballance of you navel chakra, and your trouth Chakra.
I'm sure once your blockage is removed, and a few suplement, you  will get better soon.
But are you sure there are no physical reasons for this. If not, I'm sure within a short time you could experience changes.
But to diagnose your situation I can not do this over the internet. If the way to me is to far, I recomend to find a profesional reiki practitioner, he will be able to check you situation.
