Question
Hi there,

I have been taking bee pollen and i have a fever, Is this normal? I have a stomach problem and it has taken it away, but I have been extremely tired and nausea. Please tell me if this is normal, and If I am being de-toxified. Am I haveing a reverse re-action? I have heard that Bee Pollen is an energy booster. It seems to be taking on the opposite for me.

Can you give me any information?

Answer
Janice,
Thanks for asking your question.  If you have only recently started taking the bee pollen, it's possible that you are having a reaction to it.  It does not sound like a true allergy, but your body may not be having a normal reaction.  Otherwise, it sounds like you may have an infection, if these symptoms have only been going on a short while.  It may be a clearing reaction to the bee pollen. If it is a clearing reaction, it is too much of one.  The only way to tell for sure would be to stop taking it and see what happens. If it's an infection, it would typically clear up within a week.  If it's a detox reaction, then you could start taking the bee pollen again, but at a lesser dose.  Even if you are trying to detoxify, you don't want to be doing too much, to the point where you feel unwell.
Good luck.
