This is my first time posting a question, so I hope I am doing this right!  I have been plagued for years with one sinus infection after another and I have also been diagnosed with chronic sinusitis and have been on Flonase, Nasonex, Nasacort, and antihistamines for years.  I recently began doing nasal irrigation with a Water Pik and saline, but I am still using the medications.  I am wondering if I could eventually reach a point where I could discontinue the medications without taking a risk of getting those darned sinus infections again.  Also, I have sores in one of my nostrils as a result of the nasal sprays and I have used Neosporin on them, but they do not seem to heal.  I have been wondering if Ponaris oil would help, or if you have any other suggestions for me.  Thanks so much for your help!

What you are doing is applying products or processes to the sinus system which is naturally healthy until you do these artificial processes and products, so if you keep they up you are doomed to failure permanently, similarly with the oil which is not natural for sinuses, just think about what you are doing.

The real problem is the excess omega-6 plant oils in your food supply that suppresses the natural immunity of the sinuses and your body. Quit eating chicken, turkey, farm fed fish due to their accumulation of corn oil, an omega-3.
Also avoid chips, flax, peanuts, granola and their products because of their omega-6 content.

Treatment consists of avoidance of these foods and adding large doses of omega-3 fish oil liquid plus high dose B complex, like B-100 four times a day to restore the immune system if OK with your doctors. This takes months to reverse.
