Hello,

My son, 2 years old, has had a persistant cough for almost 6 months!  He has seen 3 different doctors a number of times and has been prescribed several cough remedies and anti-biotics.  Nothing has helped.  The cough is sometimes worse than other times. Particularly bad during exercise.  I am asthmatic, and fear that this is an early sign of it in him.  Can you recommend any treatment for him that may relieve the symptoms.

Dear Ellie,
I don't really know what to say.  When it comes to children, there are always pediatricians and I do not believe herbal, homeopathic and allopathic are complimentary.  If the doctors are not considering this to be early signs or asthma, then there is only one thing I can think of to tell you.  There are natural things made for children to address various systems.  I would look for a natural product made for children that addresses and provides nutrients to the respiratory system.  You could actually strengthen his respiratory system before it escalates enough for a diagnosis to be made.
