Alternative Medicine/No Diagnosis...
Expert: Imran R. - 10/2/2006
QuestionGreetings Imran Rajan.
I am a 36 year old African female and I have been suffering since March 2006 with multiple complex symptoms. I was hospitalized for 7 days with NO diagnosis. Here are a list of my symptoms: severe deep chest wall pain, fatigue, nausea, constant headache, sinus infections, dizziness, joint pain, lower back pain, stomach ache, tingling in limbs, numbness in limbs, feeling faint; elevated fever in evenings.
I have probably missed a few symptoms. However, I experience the majority of these symptoms daily.
Here is a list of my exams: MRI, MRA, CT SCAN (head and chest and sinuses), Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath; Hida Scan, and Ultra sound of my thyroid (results pending). These tests all produced negative results, excluding the Endoscopy, where two ulcers were discovered.
I have been diagnosed with Mitro valve prolapse with regurge (mild) two ulcers and asthma; I was also told that I have Epstein Barr Virus.
Here are my current medications: Famvir 500 mg TID(anitviral for EBV); flonase, pulmicort (asthma), Zegerid 40 mg(ulcer).
Previous meds include: HCT 25 mg(QD blood pressure) and Topamax 200 mg QD(migraines). I just got off of both of these meds by choice.
Anyway, the doctors say that they don't know what is wrong with me, and that my labs look good. My TSH and calcium levels run high periodically and sometimes my HCT is low. Also, my lymphocytes ran high the last test.
I see a neurologist, cardiologist, allergist and internist, and NO ONE is helping me!!! I am miserable most of the time.
The internist says that I don't have lupus because my ANA is negative, but I've heard that you can still have lupus with a negative ANA?
I eat a healthy diet, avoiding dairy, pork, red meat, shellfish and most carbohydrates. I use very little sugar and primarily drink water.
I am so tired of feeling miserable. I commute an hour to work one way and this is exhausting and stressful, but I don't believe that it has caused me to become this ill.
Do you have any suggestions for me? Are there any tests that haven't been run that I can request?
I am willing to try new things at this point, because NOTHING to date, is making me feel better. In fact, this has been one of the worst weeks I've had in a long time.
Thank you, thank you.
AnswerDear Missy,
Thank you for your letter.
I have read your symptomology and know what needs to be done to heal your body. The starting point here is your immune system, we cannot move forward until we address this.
After this we would get you on to a good natural nutritional supplement, however the immune system needs to come first.
There has been a recent discovery in immune biotechnology involving the combination of natural peptides. This product has by far surpassed all other immune related supplements available in the world today.
My advice is that you start with the peptides, as they will regenerate your immune functions better than anything i know of. Once your immune system comes back to life, your body will engage in self-healing.
You might also be suffering from side-effects of the prescriptions you are on, please do some research on the side effects of each one.
Prescriptions will not address the cause of your illness, they will only mask the symptoms which honestly is a waste of time and money. For when symptoms have been wiped out, the actual illness will still remain. This is return can cause an even stronger outcry from your body in the form of a greater illness.
If you would like to read up on the peptides, i will send you the info by word document, as i have no website currently with the info posted. You may then decide if you would like to take them.
Email me here: second-sun@shaw.ca
Please add, "Peptides info needed" in the subject heading.
Once we have brought your immune functions back to life, your body will begin its natural healing process. All healing begins at this level.
It would be wise at this point to cut out the prescriptions.
Dietary Recommendations:
Cut out all soy products except fermented soy. Miso, tempeh and soy sauce are healthy. [fermented]
Soy contains goitrogens, which depress thyroid functions. It also contains phytic acid, which hinders the body's ability to absorb proteins, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. In general, it is an enzyme inhibitor.
Make sure to avoid all artificial sweeteners:
splenda, sucralose, aspartame, nutra-sweet, equal, acesulfame potassium.
Splenda/sucralose has become very popular these days and is just as bad, if not worse than aspartame. These sweeteners are all very toxic and are found in store bought vitamins, protein powders, anything sugar-free, gum, chocolate, soda... etc.
Please read labels carefully and cut out all artificial sweeteners. This is very important.
Both soy and artificial sweeteners weaken the immune system. The immune system is one of the keys to healing illness. Therefore, the more we can support immune related health the better.
Cut out all margarine and hydrogenated fats. Cut out canola, rapeseed and soybean oils. These are very unhealthy. Replace with butter, ghee, unrefined coconut oil, sesame oil, and virgin olive oil.
7 glasses of water per day is a good idea to help flush out toxins from the body. Warm or room temperature water, never cold. Never drink tap water. It must be filtered.
Avoid drinking distilled water. It leads to mineral depletion and hair loss.
Vaccines:
This is a subject that most do not pay enough attention to. It is a fact that not one single vaccine ever created has been safe for the human body; this has been proven time and time again by doctors of natural science, and now even by medical doctors and physicians, stating that vaccines actually do much more harm to the body than good.
It is a large subject and too much to get into through this response, but i ask that you do some research on Google: "dangers of vaccinations". You can search for vaccine information at this site also: www.mercola.com
