QuestionQUESTION: HI,
I picked up an ear fungus about 15 years ago out of a swimming pool. I have tried everything to get rid of it. So far nothing has worked. I have candled my ears but unless you get every speck it comes right back. I have used colloidal Silver, a 50/50 mixture of vinegar & alcohol. Plus several other things. Nothing has worked yet. I just do not know what else to try. I could sure use some help in getting rid of this. I have had my ears bleeding from scratching with a q-tip they itch so bad.
Thank you,
Roberta
ANSWER: Hi Roberta,
First let me apologize for being so late. We were called out of state for 2 weeks.
This is a most unusual question; fifteen years of itching your ears? ok; here is one thing you could try: put a clove of garlic in some olive oil for a few hours. Heat up this mixture until very warm then dip half a cotton ball in it. Stuff the
wet ends of the cotton balls in each ear overnight. Do not put another thing into your ears for ten days. The cotton should be wet but not soaked. Do this process each night for ten days and let me know what happens. Good luck, Suz
@@@ roberta, I was thinking of you at 4am. Do you use pay phones? People who do get ear mites. If you use one, always put a handkerchief over the phone piece that goes on your ear. Of course, it's a good idea to never let your mouth touch the mouthpiece also. asksuz

QUESTION: I have a cell phone, I never use public phones. I picked up this ear fungus out of a swimming pool years ago. The garlic oil did nothing. I keep bottled garlic oil all the time its great if I scratch my ears so much it gets infected, it heals it almost over night. However I have yet to find anything to get rid of the fungus. I have even candled my ears & got tons of fungus out of them but it never gets it all so it never goes away. I have no idea how to totally get rid of it.
AnswerHi Roberta,
I'm so sorry this is happening to you! If you have taken many antibiotics over the years for this you've built up an immunity to them. They've killed off your beneficial bacteria in the intestines.
Buy a bottle of probiotics (acidophilus bifidus)and take them everyday. Never wash your hair, shower or swim without foam earplugs. Try putting a little white vinegar in your ears at bedtime on a Q tip.
If these measures don't work you may have to eventually have ear surgery. The fungus could take over your eardrums.
I hope I've addressed your problem. Write back in a couple weeks and let me know how you're doing. Suz
