Question
Hi there and Happy Holidays!

First, can you tell me what herbs and dried flowers are good to use in making soaps and bath salts? I have been using apricot kernels, lavender, peppermint, sandalwood and white sage lately, but I want to find out which herbs are best for the skin (exfoliationing or moisturizing, ect).

Do you know much about aromatherapy?

Second, can you tell me which herbs are good at healing ailments such as warts, asthma, stress, colds and flu?
If so, could you cite your source for it? (I apologize, but I have to double check to make sure I don't use any herbs that have harmful potential).

Lastly, do you know what herbs curtail depression?

Any information would be great!

Thanks!

Answer
I don't know about making soaps and skin care products. I would suggest you get some books as reference to your questions.  Warts castor oil, asthma is difficult and would do some some research on diet and holistic healing and herbs for that, stress, passion flower and B complex and colds tea tree oil inhaled and oregano oil internally. Vit c 100 mg every 2 hours .  Depression try 5 htp.  Jayne
