Alternative Medicine/Hormone imbalance

Question
Jayne,
I am suffering from acne that has not cleared up for six months. I believe that the acne is caused by a hormonal imbalance as the breakouts occur right after ovulation. I am not clear however, if this is due to estrogen or progesterone. Which would be causing the acne and what do you recommend to balance these hormones? I have read up on chaste berry, evening primrose oil, black cohosh, burdock, and natural progesterone, but am not clear on which is the most effective or if there is another alternative.

Answer
Dong Quai is one of the best hormone balancers.  Take in capsule form what is recommended on the bottle.  I have heard great things about proactive a facial treatment. You amy be able to find on the internet.I believe it is called. Also Burdock and chickweed tea or capsules .  Jayne
