Alternative Medicine/Iridology

QuestionHi Kindred,
What advice might you give for a beginning iridologist as far as to what fee to charge for a session or have you heard of an average fee iridologists might charge? Also, would you have any pointers on advertising? For example, would business cards be better than brochures or vice versa? I live in Nashville, TN. and have seen no iridologists advertizing in the yellow pages or other cities in TN. I am even wondering if it is legal to do so.
Thanks for any advice!

AnswerHello Mike,
I believe we've corresponded previously. Hope you are well. The main thing I am aware of regarding iridology is: DO NOT under any circumstances use the word DIAGNOSIS. Iridology is amazingly accurate, yet you do not want to be accused of practicing medicine without a license. I have gotten between 15 and 30 dollars/per. I don't know about the advertising per se, but, on a business card it can be included with your other modalities and as far as a brochure, make them informational rather than marketing. It is a wonderful field of study that too few know about.
In Matthew, "Y'shua said the eye is a lamp unto the whole body."
I believe Him.
Sadly many people view it and categorize it with "palm reading." It absolutely is not. Your biggest hurdle may be the fact that you must tiptoe around "medicine" with your terminology, yet iridology is a serious and reliable method of analysis regarding health.
I wish you well and look forward to hearing how you are doing.
Shalom,
Kindred
