I hope you can help me.  Almost 2 years ago I began experiencing muscle aches and weakness. (Looking back now it seems a weakness began as far back as about 4 years ago)   I advised my doctor and as I was on Lipitor he proceeded to change my Statin drugs about every 3 mths to see if one would be better. After 1 yr he referred me to a neurologist. My weakness continued and now was experiencing muscle degeneration. Over the last 6 mths I have developed mass muscle degeneration, especially in my upper arms, shoulders, neck (upper core muscles)  I cannot raise my arms, can hardly hold my head up.  I have very bad balance, need to use a walker and my wife must assist me to walk and also basicly do everything for me.  After having extensive blood work done and a muscle biopsy, the results came back inconclusive.  The doctor is totally confused, not knowing what is going on. He cannot recommend any other tests.  I do have Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease but I have had that all my 73 years of life.  As this condition is affecting my core muscles and not my lower extremities, they do not think CMT is the problem.  Testing for  Inclusion Body Myositis has been noted as inconslusive. Not knowing what else to do, I visited a Nutrionist who has put me on various vitamins, mineral, nutriants, etc. hoping that I can strengthen my system to overcome whatever is going on.  He feels that the Statin drugs have caused my problem but all the doctors say no.  
Do you have any ideas what is going on in me?  I am slowly withering away and there seems I can do nothing about it.  Thank you for your thoughts on this.

Thank you for your question. As i was reading your condition, i began to wonder if you have Lou Gehrig's disease. I hope you have been tested for that.

I can also tell you that, statin drugs do cause muscle weakness, pain, and degeneration. The 'Doctor' should have warned you about that!

Well, my friend, i know what to do for you.
