Alternative Medicine/Stroke?

Question
Hello I am a healthy 26 year old female non smoker who takes birth control pills.
I have a TMJ problem and sinus problem.  Sometimes my face feels funny, my mouth feels tight and kind of numb and tingling, I feel as though I am talking funny although everyone says I am not.  My nose feels full and the side of my fact where the TMJ is somtimes throbs or twithces.
This comes and goes, is not constant, but scares me and makes me feel I am talking funny.
My question is, could I be having several strokes?
I can not get in to the Dr. until the end of Decemeber.
Can TMJ or conjested sinuses cause your face to feel funny and twitch and feel tingly?
Thanks.

Answer
Hi,
What you are describing fits more with symptoms of TMJ than with strokes. You need to see a doctor or dental specialist who specialize in TMJ.
