Alternative Medicine/Stroke?

QuestionHello I am a healthy 26 year old female non smoker who takes birth control pills.
I have a TMJ problem and sinus problem. Sometimes my face feels funny, my mouth feels tight and kind of numb and tingling, I feel as though I am talking funny although everyone says I am not. My nose feels full and the side of my fact where the TMJ is somtimes throbs or twithces.
This comes and goes, is not constant, but scares me and makes me feel I am talking funny.
My question is, could I be having several strokes?
I can not get in to the Dr. until the end of Decemeber.
Can TMJ or conjested sinuses cause your face to feel funny and twitch and feel tingly?
Thanks.
AnswerDear Worried,
I do not know much about BC pills, except that I would never recommend them. But I do know that one of the side effects to taking BC pills can affect the circulatory system. It sounds like a pressure more on your ear, since "you sound different" to yourself, but to no one else. This could be related to your jaw. I am sorry, I cannot be specific about "don't worry" or this is the problem, but you know I cannot tell you exactly what it is. It really does sound like it could be pressure from sinuses and TMJ in or around your inner ear.
Sorry, all I can do is guess.
