My best friend is really into natural healing and alternative medicine.  Her mother is a midwife, and they do all sorts of cleanses and things with herbs.  Right now she is doing some liver cleanse and some kind of hydrogen peroxide therapy where she drinks like one drop a day of really strong hydrogen peroxide.  
She told me today that she is in terrible pain from some largely swollen glands or lymph nodes on her inner thigh/groin area.  She says that one knot is about the size of an egg and three others are the size of grapes and a little further along there are some smaller ones.    
  I think that she is just about convinced that she needs to go see a doctor.  But she does not know what kind she should see.  So, I guess my question has two parts. Could these swollen glands be a sign that she has poisoned herself with these herbs and hydrogen peroxide?  And, what kind of doctor should she go see?

Could these swollen glands be a sign that she has poisoned herself with these herbs and hydrogen peroxide?  Not really, just that these have done nothing for her problem which is really a form of serious malnutition.

What kind of doctor should she go see?
