Alternative Medicine/Tiredness/Sleep

Question
Hi,
I sleep enough (7-10 hours a night) but I always feel tired during the day, and I have lots of dreams at night, so I don't think I am getting proper deep sleep. I was wondering if you could tell me some herbs or vitamin supplements that are good for energy, and also some that are good for getting proper sleep. I get regular exercise.
Thank you

Answer
Hi Sarah  -- I can tell you what works for me....

At night I take calcium magnesium -- we all need calcium but the added benefit is a restful sleep!   I use the chewables but any would work -- calcium and magnesium relaxes our muscles so our body truly relaxes.

During the day, I use Shaklee Basics which includes vitalea multi, b-complex, Vit. C and Vit. E and add Corenergy which is ginseng and green tea and Mental Acuity which is ginkgo biloba for mental alertness.  I also use Energizing soy protein which helps balance out the ups and downs of sugar levels.

You can learn more about these products at www.shaklee.net/integrativewellness.  I trust the integrity and quality of Shaklee and they work!   If you would like more info, you can contact me at zannrose@aol.com.  Best of health to you,   Suzanne
