QUESTION: My father was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease(ALS or Lou Gehrig's)about two years ago and the disease is progressing rapidly. He is based in India and is currently trying out alternative therapies like acupressure and acupuncture. Could you please advise us on any other treatment options available.

ANSWER: Dear Anushri,

Forgive the delay in response, your email took a while to get to me from allexperts.

If your dad is in India, it will be difficult to get the appropriate products to him, ones that i usually recommend
as they do not ship to India.

I would suggest he looks for a spiritual healer there. I heard of someone and am not sure what part of India he is in, but he is greatly advanced and is able to heal people of all kind of disorders. I will do my best to find this information for you... will take a while to contact the appropriate people, as they live in Kenya, and i am in Canada. They do not have email either. But i will see what i can do.

For now, your dad should start with oil pulling every morning to clean the blood and lymphatic system.
Please research "oil pulling" on google, and get him to begin with it immediately.

I have altered the oil pulling therapy slightly to improve results; Use regular sunflower oil; swish for 10 minutes. Spit out the toxic oil, and then take in another tablespoon of oil, and swish for another 10 minutes. Spit it out. Then brush your teeth and rinse your mouth well. When you spit the oil out, do so directly into the sink drain and flush with hot water.

Do not swish for 20 minutes straight as most people recommend, as the oil pulls up toxins and harmful micro-organisms within 10 minutes. Therefore ten by two.

The rest of the details will be found by doing a search on Oil Pulling...this will give background on the therapy and so on.

Next, to restore his vital force and start healing his body, he should practice pranayama every day.

Dear Anushri,

Forgive the great delay in response. I have unfortunately been unable to locate the spiritual healer for you. Those who know of him live in a small town, and when we finally got their contact information, we found that they had moved from that home. No one seems to know where.

At this point, i would advise you ask people in your area. Ask at temples, and at any ayurvedic healing centers, if anyone knows of a spiritual healer. Pray for help in accomplishing this.

It would also be a good idea to look into the pranayama dvd's i mentioned.
