Question
Dear Jayne

I need some urgent advice I am 39 years old and I have had a relapse of ulcerated colitis and was wondering why this happens.  What do I need to do diet wise to get this under control and do I need to change my life style.  I am on pegnisoline and it seems to be helping but I am still passing too much blood.

Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dave Webber

Answer
I couldn't tell you why. I would have to see you and ask some questions.  There are books about diet and this disease.  Diet is the cause.  you are what you eat.  Stress is a factor.  You are what you think.  Diet changes are necessary Accept that.  Find a good holistic health practitioner who can assist you with the proper changes.  If you live near Annapolis let me know.
