Question
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about a year now.I
took the depo shot one time in October 2005 and I havent had a period
since. I've been to the doctor and he told me everything looked and felt
fine. That the depo shot was making my periods stop. He prescribed me
Provera and told me I'd be pregnant within 3 months..
it didnt work at all. That was proably 6 months ago. So i heard about
vitex and started taking it with superprimrose along with prenatals.
When i got online tho it says your supposed to take 400 mg 3 times a day.
The one i got is 225 mg and it says take 2 times a day? why is there
different doeses? and how long is it supposed to take before my periods
may come back? I had cramps for about a week...{ive been taking it for 9
days} and my boobs have been sore for about a week half....thanks for
your help!!!

As a rule of thumb, the bottle has the suggested maintance dosage for a supplement but if you are taking a supplement for more than maintance that will be where the discrepence is.

How long you will need to take it will vary by person. There is no one answer that can be given for that question. If that is not what is needed then you will want to look at other avenues.
I have found working with the pituitary and issues with low cholesterol levels are often the answer. Also detoxing the boxy from Provera would be an excellent choice.
