Hi there!  I have had the same problem for months... i have a bump on my eyelid and i have gone to an eye doctor after a few weeks (of it not going away) and he told me its cuz my eyeglasses lenses were too weak and i had to make an effort stressing my eyes to see something so that caused the oils to build up into this bump.  well he gave me eye drops and some kind of antibiotic gel to put inside my eye at nite b4 i sleep and sometimes i used a hot towel...and it almost went away then came back with a vengeance!  its bigger than before!
it doesnt hurt but it doesnt look too pretty. i went to the same doctor again and he gave me Bactiflox which are pills i have to take one every 12 hours...im not sure i trust it so any advice maybe?? thanks!

Sounds like your doctor thinks the bump is infected. The antibiotic is a good choice. Sometimes topical antibiotics are not sufficient to treat this type of infection.
A hot towel or a shower wil help burst the cyst and drain the infection. Be careful no to get it into your eye if it drains.
