Alternative Medicine/cervical disphasia

Question
I have an appointment for a LEEP procedure next week for CIN2 abnormal cells on my cervix. At 40, this is the first abnormal pap smear I have ever had and was surprized. I have looked into it and find it is more about my immune system... so I have begun a vitamin program (the B's, vitamin E, and C) and am looking into Pycnogenal which seems to an important supplement for over-all health, circulation, anti oxidants, etc... I am also letting go of a relationship that has caused me a lot of stress in the last year.

What do you usually prescribe or suggest to women with cervical disphasia or cervical cancer?

Thank you,
Chloe

Answer
Dear Chloe,

Thank you for your letter.

I am glad you are doing alternative research on this condition. You are correct to think that the immune system is involved in this equation.

Cervical dysplasia  is cleared out by taking a high anti-oxidant supplement, one that will balance your hormonal system, nervous system as well as strengthen and boost your immune functions.

The best natural product i have personally found that will provide this and more is a super-food called "fruta-vida". Please see site for details on nutritive values. I cannot recommend any other product in this category as they do not provide what the frutavida does.

In your case you would take 2 ounces daily. 1 twice per day.
That is just over 2 tablespoons twice per day.

Take folic acid as well. This is important and will support this particular protocol. You would start with one milligram per day and increase every few days until you are on 6mg. Divide the doses.

And yes, stress is a major cause of illness. Relationships that cause pain and stress are not to be held onto. Your emotional and physical health depend on it.

If you feel your body needs more of an immune boost than what this protocol will provide, then email me and i will recommend an immune-specific builder.

Listen to your body at all times, this is very important.
Sickness often results because of our inability to listen to our body and give it what it needs, because we are too busy with our daily lives.

Dietary recommendations that are important to follow:

I generally advise people to cut out all soy products, except fermented soy. Miso, tempeh and soy-sauce are healthy. [fermented]

Soy contains goitrogens which depress thyroid function. It also contains phytic acid which hinders the bodies' ability to absorb proteins, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. In general it is an enzyme inhibitor.

Also, please make sure you avoid all artificial sweeteners:
splenda, sucralose, aspartame, nutra-sweet, equal, acesulfame potassium.

Splenda/sucralose have become very popular these days and are just as bad if not worse than aspartame. These sweeteners are very toxic and are found in store bought vitamins, protein powders, anything sugar-free, gum, chocolate, soda... etc. Please read labels carefully and cut out all artificial sweeteners. This is very important.

Soy and artificial sweeteners both weaken the immune system. And the immune system is one of the keys to healing any illness. Therefore the more we can support immune related health, the better.

Cut out all margarine and hydrogenated fats. Cut out canola, rapeseed and soybean oils. These are very unhealthy. Replace with butter, ghee, unrefined coconut oil, sesame oil, and virgin olive oil.

7 glasses of water per day is a good idea to help flush out toxins from the body. Warm or room temperature water, never cold. Never drink tap water. It must be filtered.

Please email me if you have any questions on this protocol.

I wish you much success with your health.
