Answer
Dear Farah,

Thank you for writing. Yes, there are alternative therapies that will help your husband regain his health.

As for the Doctors suggestions, i cannot tell you to follow them or not to follow them. That decisions must be yours and your husbands.

In cases like this, one must understand that the healer to look to is God. Not any doctor, operation or synthetic substance. God alone. I therefore encourage you to have faith, to pray increasingly, day after day, and many times per day, for a resolution, and what path to take. Then, look to your inner voice of silence for the answer. Listen and trust that God will guide you both. Make the effort to do this daily. Then Expect the answer, for it will come.

As for the alternatives, begin with paying attention to diet, see below for more details. Furthermore it would be very helpful to start taking a good probiotic supplement; search for "primal defence ultra" on the internet. Double the dose is recommended on a daily basis until the bowel condition has healed itself. With this take a good nutritional product. Website:  http://www.tryfrutavida.com/main

The only other therapy i would advise in conjunction is the use of a good zapper, also on a daily basis: http://zap.intergate.ca

General Dietary Recommendations:

Cut out all soy products, except fermented soy. Miso, tempeh and natural soy sauce are healthy. [fermented]

Soy contains goitrogens which depress thyroid functions. It also contains phytic acid, which hinders the body's ability to absorb proteins, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. In general, it is an enzyme inhibitor.

Do not drink pasteurized milk as it is quite harmful. Take only certified organic or raw milk.

Refrain from using microwaves. They lower haemoglobin levels, deteriorate immune functions and produce high numbers of radiolytic compounds in foods. (do some research on google for more info)

Make sure you cut out all artificial sweeteners:
splenda, sucralose, aspartame, nutra-sweet, equal, acesulfame potassium.

These sweeteners can be found in store bought vitamins, protein powders, anything sugar-free, gum, chocolate, soda... etc.  Therefore please read labels carefully.

Cut out all margarine and hydrogenated fats. Cut out canola, rapeseed and soybean oils.
These are unhealthy. Replace with butter, ghee, unrefined coconut oil, sesame oil, and virgin olive oil.

7 glasses of water per day is a good idea to help flush out toxins from the body. Warm or room temperature water, never cold. Never drink tap water. It must be filtered. Avoid drinking distilled water. It leads to mineral depletion and hair loss.
