Question
Hello
I am 26 yr old female from NJ and was diagnosed with diabetes in 2004.
I am really trying my best to stay away from chemical drugs that prescribed by my doctor. I recently read something that scared me about western medicine.
Any info you have would be helpful

Hi Kamilah,
To my knowledge there are no non-prescription, herbal, alternative medications which are as effective as prescription medications in lowering blood glucose. Do not play around with this condition and follow your doctor's instruction. Uncontrolled elevated blood glucose is a risk factor for heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, nerve damage, impotence, and blindness.I have seen them all in my practice.
You do not want to take chances with this condition.
I hope I have scared you enough to use traditional medications to control your condition.
