Alternative Medicine/excessive sweating/abnormal circulation in extremeties...
Expert: Imran R. - 5/14/2006
QuestionHi, thanks for listening. Its turned out to be a long "question", but i felt i should tell you what i know/feel.
Ive had palmar hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of palms; i learned it had a name..) for a few years i guess. It destroyed my junior year in college, and i had to leave for a semester. During that summer, i had botox injections in my hands; which is the most effective therapy for excessive sweating. It did well and i kept my mind off of it for about 15 months, and now it is back. With summer here its even worse, and i dont think my new insurance will cover botox again. So ive been searching out other answers.
Mostly ive been looking into the source of my problem, which i believe is poor or otherwise abnormal circulation. There are other clues to this too: sweat easily during activity or embarassment, etc., sweat on forehead when i eat sour foods (?? called gustatory sweating i believe, but weird), my face stays red more than usual after athletic activity (this became apparent in high school...), wet socks after an hour in shoes, and finally and most dibilitating my hands. I can be doing nothing, and its a normal temperature, and i will look down and see rivers of sweat on my hands. Nevermind other times when i am stressed, or in hot weather doing ANYTHING... My hands and feet can be freezing too when the rest is warm. Basically my extremeties are not regulating temperature.
Im sorry to spill like this. Its been a while since ive thought about how much it is destroying me.
Anything way you can help me would be appreciated. Ive heard that herbs like ginseng can help with poor circulation, but thats about all i know.
thanks.

AnswerDear Ethan,
Thank you for your question. Hyperhydrosis results from the sympathetic-nervous-system being excessively stimulated.
One part of the human brain controls the sweating response to body temperature, while another area controls the sympathetic or emotional sweating response.
Therefore in times of stress the sweating worsens. We know that sweet foods like chocolate tend to have a mood enhancing effect on the emotions. Sour foods generally do not, therefore it is understandable how sour foods could also trigger sweating.
It is not advisable to keep eating sweet things though in order to induce emotional comfort as sugar is generally bad for our health. And botox is not a treatment, it merely masks the symptoms.
I would not advise red or korean ginseng, as it tends to increase internal heat which can lead to further sweating. Siberian ginseng which cools the body is recommended if you are to take ginseng.
We have recommended with success the use of an immune system builder and a subtle energy balancer in the case of hyperhydrosis.
I suggest you look into a natural advanced liquid immune system building nutritional supplement called 'transfer factor rio-vida'.
Website: www.trinity.my4life.com
This supplement contains natural immune builders as well as balancers, anti-oxidants as well as vitamins.
We want to build your immune system in order to help stabilize your nervous system.
What also really helps in this case is a supporting therapy using subtle energy. Look into the 'life force pendant' found here: www.safe-space.sg5.info
Electro magnetic radiation emanating from electrical devices, appliances, cell phones, cell phone towers, power lines and computers/monitors are very harmful to our immune system and nervous system and degenerate them.
The pendant mentioned above shields the physical body against all types of harmful radiation including microwave radiation. The subatomic technology (body-specific frequencies) also have a beneficial effect on the emotions and mind, helping to balance and re-generate the nervous system thereby over time healing and reversing the imbalance of hyperhydrosis.
I believe this to be an effective therapy.
I would be happy to forward detailed information i have on the workings and test results of the life force pendant to you by email if you wish.
You may contact me at: second-sun@shaw.ca
I advise your re-charge the pendant on the holographic card that will be provided overnight once per week.
Best wishes,
Imran.
P.S. I have forgotten to mention you will be able to purchase the rio-vida supplement at a discount through the mentioned site, please contact them for more info.
