Alternative Medicine/gingivitus holistic care

QuestionHello! I've posted this question to another person as well, just thought I'd get as many opinions as I could.
Here is the situation/question: my uncle recently found out he has gingivitis and must have 4 of his molars (don't know which side) removed.
Is there another way, perhaps, chelation and ozone therapy, or must he have his teeth pulled. And since this is my uncle, what are some ways to prevent this.
Note: He is really good about flossing, he's done so for the past 20 years and has always had beautiful straight teeth (never had braces).
He is 43, south-asian decent, has maintained his weight for 4 years since being overweight all his life and continues to exercise and eat healthy. He is divorced and since his divorce (4 years ago) his life is much richer.
Thanks for pointing us in any direction!
Sharmila
AnswerDear Sharmila,
Gingivitis is a gum disease, and pulling teeth will not resolve it. Pulling teeth for gingivitis is only removing a symptom, not the problem. I would recommend that he brush his teeth and gums using salt, at least 3 times a day making certain that the gums are saturated with saline. I would also recommend a camphor solution like Camphophinique applied to his gums following the brushing and take a detoxifying herbal, such as dandelion. He needs to build his immune system, so his body will fight the gingivitis.
I hope this helps. I will pray for his health.
Kind Regards,
Kindred
