QuestionHello,
Im 43, have lyme, hypothyroid, low seritonin levels, low vitamin D, high t3 reverse, but low t3 free, and low t4 free. I have cronic sevear spells of ligheaded feelings that almost make me pass out. I cant tolerate any strong chemicals. I have become super sensitive to smells, sounds and lights, noises etc.. I was told to take armor, cant, it give me terrible heart palpitations, was given cortisal could not take that either, felt like I was on 10 cups of expressos. I was then told I had adrenal exhaustion. Im taking adroset from metagenics. The adrenals are healing. But im still having these horrible dizzy spells. I can not go into stores, the lighheaded feelings are alot worse. Iam seing a psychologist because I was told its all in my head. Im willing to do anything. please let me know what you feel is going on. One dr. said to take eclips a liquid immune suppliment and oncoplex to detox. havent tried that yet. just found out about that yesterday. any suggeston. Thank you so much for your time. Im so depressed that I have no life. Im always laying on my bed since the dizzy spells are so bad. BP good, sugars good. ct scan okay. neck xray okay. ????
AnswerHello Therese,
Thanks for writing. If you have ruled out serious pathology, dizziness could be due to a lingering infection, adrenal fatigue, anemia, blood pressure, muscle tension/strain, anxiety, medications, and other reasons. Without completing a full history, it would be difficult to decide on what is causing your symptoms. And therefore, it's uncertain any treatment will be helpful to make a real change. Who are you getting the metagenics products from? These are practitioner-only, so I am assuming you are working with a practitioner knowledgable in supplements. Since I believe that the relationship with your practitioner is an important part of healing, I would encourage you to let this person really guide you in finding some answers. If you are not achieving what you want, you may need to include another practitioner who you know will help you.
Sorry to not be more helpful, unfortunately, there a limitation to what we can do if not in person. What I can encourage you to do is find someone local who can guide you to the help you need, and follow your own intuition in searching for answers.
Best of luck to you.
