Alternative Medicine/low diastolic pressure, fainting

Question
Hello, my BP is running around 105/60, but any time it goes down to about 64 or lower I get very faint, and actually hit the floor last week.  I'm 65, have chronic fatigue, MCS, and had episodes of this at age 40 and 50.  This has now become disabling, so need to get to the root cause.  Thanks.

Answer
Heather,
Thanks for your question.
There are several possibilities for what could be going on for you.  It's difficult to evaluate and diagnose correctly without more information, examination, and testing.  Since some of the possible conditions could be serious, I'd suggest you seek out a full visit with your primary healthcare provider.  If you can see a licensed naturopathic doctor in your area, they would be able to help you with diagnosis and treatment.  You can search for a naturopathic doctor at www.naturopathic.org.
If not, you might want to get an evaluation first, to rule out more serious conditions, and then seek out natural therapies for adjunct care.  No doubt that are some that may be helpful, but as you mention the cause needs to be found first.
Good luck!
