Question
i Have been told by my Dr. that I have neuropathy in the balls of  both feet , would elavil help this or do you have a suggestion ,thanks

Answer
Hi Herb,
Neuropathy is a term used to describe abnormal sensations usually caused by damages nerve cells.
Drugs such as Elavil help restore nerve conduction and sensation to normal or near normal. Elavil can help with some types of neuropathy. Other drugs that are used to help with neuropathy are ant-convulsants. These include gabapentin, carbamazepine, topiramate.
Elavil is the least expensive of the drugs. If you do not have satisfactory response from it you can ask your doctor about the other drugs.
