Question
hi..my girlfriend has fibromyalgia, and been on corvalem m for a few months. this totally fails to give her energy. i found out that only has 1 carbohydrate. now, when she eats sugar, choclate bars, etc., these also fail to give her energy.  if i eat a choclate bar, in less then 15 minutes i feel more energetic, but she feels no increased energy at all.  what could cause that, and what can she do to feel more energy from carbohydrate intake?  thank you!!

Answer
Dear James,

Thank you for writing, your email has now come through.

The lack of energy your girlfriend is experiencing after eating something sweet is due to a severely underfunctioning immune system. As it is those suffering with fibromyalgia have immune systems that function at around 10% activity and less. Sugar containing foods weaken this further.

What she really needs at this time is high quality nutrition. This is of the utmost importance. She must cut out all sweet foods, sugars, soda's, chocolates, artificial sweeteners, and this must be done immediately. She should take the super-food formula found here:  http://www.tryfrutavida.com/main

It is important to start with only 1 ounce daily for the first 7 days. Taken on an empty stomach about 10-15 minutes before meals. After that first week, increase to 2 ounces daily. An ounce twice per day. This will make a huge difference to her conditoin. Nutrition like this provides building blocks the body will use to heal-itself of the autoimmune imbalance.

After she has started taking the nutritional product, she should then (in conjunction) use a good zapper on a daily basis. See website: http://zap.intergate.ca

This is a very effective combination.

She must also pay specific attention to her diet.

General Dietary Recommendations:

Cut out all soy products, except fermented soy. Miso, tempeh and natural soy sauce are healthy. [fermented]

Soy contains goitrogens which depress thyroid functions. It also contains phytic acid, which hinders the body's ability to absorb proteins, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. In general, it is an enzyme inhibitor.

Do not drink pasteurized milk as it is quite harmful. Take only certified organic or raw milk.

Refrain from using microwaves. They lower haemoglobin levels, deteriorate immune functions and produce high numbers of radiolytic compounds in foods. (do some research on google for more info)

Make sure all artificial sweeteners are avoided:
splenda, sucralose, aspartame, nutra-sweet, equal, acesulfame potassium.

These sweeteners are found in store bought vitamins, protein powders, anything sugar-free, gum, chocolate, soda... etc.  Therefore please read labels carefully.

Both soy and artificial sweeteners compromise the immune system.

Cut out all margarine and hydrogenated fats. Cut out canola, rapeseed and soybean oils.
These are unhealthy. Replace with butter, ghee, unrefined coconut oil, sesame oil, and virgin olive oil.

7 glasses of water per day is a good idea to help flush out toxins from the body. Warm or room temperature water, never cold. Never drink tap water. It must be filtered. Avoid drinking distilled water it leads to mineral depletion and hair loss.
