Hi Tonja  my daughter moved to a new city this week she is 31 weeks pregnant. she hasnt got access to the internet as yet,
she has a very painfull gland in het neck and a doctor has dianosed mumps, she is unable to take any thing due to the pregnancy what are natural anti biotics she can take i suggested yoghart and maybe manuka honey hopefully you will have some good advice for her regards Helen

Answer
I would do the following if I were pregnant with the mumps
Lymphatic Dranage and IN-X to help with lymph
Mullein - for any congestion
High Potency Garlic (may be hard to take while pregnant due to odor - needs to be odor controled and not oderless) or VS-C- antiviral
Catnip and fennel as a digestive aid
You can make a tea of 3 parts mullein and 1 part lobelia (lobelia liquid used externally only) soak cotton coth in tea nd wrap around neck covering with dry cloth and change it every hour while the person is awake only.
