Question
Hello. I have been taking one flower essence for 5 days now, and I'm pretty sure it worked all the way, or at least that's what it feels like. But a lot of FAQs on the web suggest to take them for 2 weeks or a month or fora lot longer. Is it possible to work this quickly? Should I keep taking it for longer to see if there are more aspects of the issue? Or am I just wasting my time doing that? I guess I just like the idea of taking one at a time, and if I'm done with this one, I would really like to go onto the next one. But I'm afraid that if I stop taking this one then the problem won't be dealt with. So I guess, all in all, my main question is, how do I know when to stop taking it and can it be so soon?

Thank you.

Answer
Dear friend Jiyuhn,

The time to feal the real effects of the Bach flower essences depends on it's person. For an average we think about 2 weeks to a month to see the first significant effects, assuming that the right essence was chosen, although it could take much less time (like you are reporting) or much more time.

Usually we find a mix of essences that it's adjusted to its individual case, although we know that the ideal thing is to find only one essence. But, that's the rare case. With time we can try to reduce the number of essences to the least possible. For the first try we should not use more then 5 essences.

I think the way you find it's different. You choose only one essence at a time. If you are not in a rush you could go that way, but to take the essence for about to 2/3 weeks before changing, Although, in this process a risk of having alternate between good and bad times is possible.
