Question
Although my tests come back OK,I am convinced I am borderline hypothyroid.
I have most of the symptoms,the main one being inability to lose weight although I dont eat much and exercise daily.
I just purchased a raw thyroid glandular supplement from bovine.
Have you heard of this helping? I have been taking two a day for two days now,wondering when it will kick in.

Thanks for your question.  Many people do have low thyroid function even though their tests are normal, and you may be in this category.  There are many natural approaches that may help improve function.  Glandulars are among these.  The best approach is one that incorporates more than just a supplement, so you may want to look for additional things you can do, including nutrition, hydrotherapy, nutrients, homeopathics, etc.  Natural approaches do take more time; most people notice an effect within a few weeks, but using a variety of treatments may help relieve symptoms earlier and also provide long lasting improvement.  I suggest you to seek out an ND www. naturopathic.org or other alternative doctor if you need further guidance.
