Question
I am 28, a bit overweight, and have a girlfriend again after lasting a while single.

Ever since I started going with her I started doing regular exercise and have in a short amount of time improved my agility, verility and endurance.  I've almost totally ceased consumption of alcohol for the last 2 years and intend to keep it that way.

I consider if I lose another 30-40 pounds I will be my normal weight.  I would like to know what I can do to extend and increment my sexual potency and virility for the long and short term.

I ask since I was concerned since when I started having sex again my performance was horrible and errections didn't seem to be as they used to.  

Thank god I have undergone a tremendous positive change ever since I started exercising but would still like to know what a doctor would recommend in particular since this topic is a bit embarrasing...   Controlled amount of sex per week? certain foods/vitamins? any information will be appreciated.

Thank you for your question.

This is an interesting subject; most still do not know that losing reproductive energy is actually harmful to the body as a whole and to one's performance and will power.

Although it takes discipline to re-train the mind, it is best not to allow the fall of creative energies.

This is accomplished simply by the application of will power and self control. It is not a difficult thing to attain.

Taoist teachings have spoken in depth about this subject. When one looks at a physiological diagram (oriental) of the body,
all meridians/points are named accordingly. In the area of the coccyx there is a point named Jen-Mo. This point actually prevents the loss of seminal fluid when pressed, and recycles it back into the body during moments of heightened pleasure. Do some research on this as well please.

As for sexual union, i suggest starting slow; once a week. The optimal cycle would be twice per week. It is important to understand that when the creative/sexual energies are over used there is drain upon the physiology, however when under used there is degeneration that occurs within the sexual center, which can lead to moral/physical degeneration.

Therefore there needs to be balance in everything. Where there is yang there must be yin.

Getting enough sleep every night, having a routine, sleeping by 11PM latest every night, and paying attention to diet is important. I have added dietary info below.

There is a natural supplement you can take that will help as well. The super-food known as Acai is very helpful in providing energy. General Dietary Recommendations:

Cut out all soy products, except fermented soy. Miso, tempeh and natural soy sauce are healthy. [fermented]

Soy contains goitrogens which depress thyroid functions. It also contains phytic acid, which hinders the body's ability to absorb proteins, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. In general, it is an enzyme inhibitor.

Do not drink pasteurized milk as it is quite harmful. Take only certified organic or raw milk.

Make sure you avoid all artificial sweeteners:
splenda, sucralose, aspartame, nutra-sweet, equal, acesulfame potassium.

Splenda/sucralose has become very popular these days and is just as toxic as aspartame. These sweeteners are found in store bought vitamins, protein powders, anything sugar-free, gum, chocolate, soda... etc.  Therefore please read labels carefully.

Both soy and artificial sweeteners compromise the immune system.

Cut out all margarine and hydrogenated fats. Cut out canola, rapeseed and soybean oils.
These are unhealthy. Replace with butter, ghee, unrefined coconut oil, sesame oil, and virgin olive oil.  

7 glasses of water per day is a good idea to help flush out toxins from the body. Warm or room temperature water, never cold. Never drink tap water. It must be filtered. Avoid drinking distilled water. It leads to mineral depletion and hair loss.
