Question
Is there a website for the technique? a good school?  and what exactly IS the technique-how does it work, what does it do.

Answer
Hello Abigail
You can visit my site at www.hatso.com where you will find a short and a long explanation of the technique.  If you are in the UK visit www.stat.org.uk which is the site of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique. There you will find some good explanations, a list of UK schools and links to affiliated societies worldwide.  Another very comprehensive site, also containing many good links, is www.alexandertechnique.com.  When you have researched these sites, you are welcome to use the links on my site to email me again with any further questions.
