Hi there!...

I've been taking "passiflora" 230mg to help the burning sensation i get on my scalp, however, they seem to make my eyes foggy and make me a bit sleepy.

can you suggest any alrternatives.

I think the burning scalp may be nerve or anxiety related. allied to hair loss.

many thanks,

Hi David,
I do not know this product.
Can you list the active ingredients for me?
Thank you for using Allexperts

Answer
Hi David,
Passion flower has sedative properties which explains why it makes you sleepy. The foggy eyes may be caused by drowsiness the medication can cause or an allergic reaction.
A lotion containing camphor and menthol can help dull the burning sensation. It may also be worthwhile to try a coal tar shampoo which is very useful in managing scalp seborrhea.
Thank you for using Allexperts
