Question
if i feed my dog a clove of garlic will it kill the fleas or will they jump off?
Hi Lindi,
Garlic enters the blood stream and this is what makes the dog unattractive to fleas. The fleas don't like the taste. I don't know if it will kill them - it is more that they just wont go anywhere near him. If he is currently infested then you need to get this under control with some natural flea shampoos and regular grooming. "Neem" based products work really well.
There is a product called Flea Free which it totally naturally - you add it to their daily food and it keeps fleas and other pests away.
You should be able to find it on-line.
