hi my dog is constantly throwing up and retching with diahoria and is quite moppy i saw from another post you can give pepto bismol to settle the stomach, but i don't have any of this and there is no chemist open is there anything else i can give him like milk of magnesium

HI Alan,
you really need to get your dog to a vet.  He could be sick with a virus, infection, or poisoning.  I think someone else has recommended the pepto bismol.  I feel that it is never really safe to give pets human pharmaceuticals.  You really need to take him to the vet.
Sorry I can't offer more advise, but this could be quite a serious problem - not to mention the dangers of dehydration!
