Question
Snotzer has some kind of skin problem on her chin, she has black hard spots and redness, i was told before that this was a hormone conditio and the vet gave me tablets which cleared it up. I am unable to get her to a vet at the moment and wonder if there is something I could buy over the counter to help her until I can afford the vet ?

Answer
HI Belinda,
if this is a hormone imbalance then you may have to purchase some more of the medications from the vet.  Has the vet checked that it is not skin cancer?  You can add some flax seed oil to her daily meals, and feed her some sardines in sping water, as these too can help to get the coat and skin in better shape.  Without a proper diagnosis it is impossible to recommend any natural therapies that may help.
Let me now how you go.
Take care,
Silva.
