Alternative Medicine for Pets/hot spot

Question
I have a 79 pound golden retriever.  He is about 4-5 years old. I have him on a holistic diet of Blue dog food.  He suddenly started scratching under his chin and can't seem to stop.  The fur is worn away and the skin looks leather in appearance. How do I heal this area?

Minna, I would love to help but this could be serious.  If this is that leather looking, you should make a visit to the vet.  I do have help with supplements but the vet should do an exam.
