Question
I have a 80lb 11 yr old Golden with what the vet diagnosed as arthritis.  She is not over weight.  I would rather not give her rimadyl.  What alternatives natural treatments would you recommend?  Is tylenol ok?

thank you!

Jim

Answer
Hi Jim  -

Glad you asked this question.  Please don't give Tylenol.
Not good at all.  You can give a Baby Asprin, 1 per day ( 81 mg)..
Doesn't cost much, too. Also, glad to hear she is not overweight.

Good job keeping her weight normal.  This will sure help her as she grows older.  You can give the pill in a little cheese..

As for natural alternatives, I have a product that I like called NuVET... stop by my web site for more info... Free samples, too.

Only about 20.00 per month...  Saving you money on the choice of Remadyl or other anit-inflammatories.

My personal site is at:  http://www.apluspetcare.com

One more thing... What kind and brand of food is she eating?

Thanks for your questions.  Hope to hear your answers.  Get back with me.  Thanks
