Question
Hello, Marie.. My name is Mike and I have a 2 year old Boxer that I feed a grain free diet. I purchased some Acidophilus capsules for him so he can get some probiotics in him. My question is in the inactive ingredients it lists rice powder. Is the capsule made of rice powder or is it in the capsule. Can i open the capsule and pour on food. Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Mike - Good job getting a probiotic for your boxer boy.  The rice powder is the the outer covering and may have some on the inside too.  It is safe for you to open it up and place it into his food.  If you can get him to just take the capsule, that is fine, too.

Glad he is on a Grain free diet... You are doing a great job!
