Question
Do you feel that Diabetes can be controlled with out insulin? I need to treat my dog Nubia, she is on insulin (1 shot), but It is not well controlled even with one. The doctor said she needs two.  I wanted to know if there was a way to control it without insulin. I appreciate your
help. Thank you!

Answer
Dear Zoya,
I can certainly make some recommendations, but with something this serious you really need to let your vet know what you are doing.  What course of action you take is of course your choice.  I would certainly recommend that you continue with the insulin at least for a while, whilst also starting on some natural remedies.
For a great herbal blend you should visit: www.herbal-treatments.com
Go to the "herbs for dogs" page, and then scroll down to diabetes.  This is a powerful blend and when you place your order let them know I recommended them so that you get your order shipped out asap.
Secondly, diabetes has to do with the pancreas and "sweetness of life".  Oat porridge is great to give Nubia every day.  Just soak the oats in hot water and when they are absorbed and cooled down you can give to her.
Watch what you are feeding her - make sure there are NO treats or human foods.  Raw grated veggies and raw meats are the best.
What else is happening to Nubia on an emotional level?  Diabetes is related to imbalances in the solar plexus chakra.  Giving her daily rubs over this area will improve its function. The solar plexus is located on the tummy, between the navel and the end of the sternum at the ribs.  Is there anything that is upsetting her or causing her to feel that life is not sweet?  Or is there something happening in your life that she is absorbing?  Have a look at these emotional issues as they are hugely related to physical manifestations.
Do let me know how you go.
Take care.
Silva.
