Question
annual check-up yesterday, was informed that sammi has dry
eye, one eye being worse that the other. prescription for
optimmmune & advised to put drops in her eyes a lot.
am in shock that we will have to chase this poor little
dog around poking stuff in her eyes for life? please help?

Hi Rainie:  This is a common problem for her breed, and many other small doggies...  She will get used to it over time.  You won't always have to chase her around the house!

You need to follow the advice of your vet because she can be prone to ulers and infections with the Dry eye diagnosis.

Again, don't worry, this is common and not serious.  Just make sure you put the drops in every day.
