Question
I have a 4month old pomeranian who I have owned for about 4weeks now.  Since we bought him he has this horrible hacking cough-  I took him to the vet and they said it could be kennel cough and they gave me antibiotics.  I used the antibiotics as directed and not even the slightest change occured.  I think it even made it worse.  I have no idea what to do and i cannot afford x-rays like they are saying i may need.

It does sound like Kennel cough.  There is a great all herbal product for Kennel Cough made by Robert McDowell - www.herbal-treatments.com
This will clear the cough and help with the immune system.
Make sure you are feeding him good quality fresh foods and lots of fresh water daily.  Once you finish the course of antibiotics you may want to re-establish his gut flora with some goats yogurt (low fat, no sugar, no flavors).  Just a couple of teaspoons per day will suffice.  You can do this for about 2 weeks, just to get his tummy back in good working order.  But don't start the yogurt until you finish the antibiotics.
Get in touch with Robert and order the Kennel cough mix as this will help to settle things down.
