Question QUESTION: Hi there
My dog lost a fang do to getting caught in another dog’s collar, and I’m wondering if it’s safe to give him a Tylenol 3, I think he’s feeling some pain. Or is there something else I could give him? He’s an Alaskan malamute and he’s 120 pounds. thanks
Kari

QUESTION: hi there
i got another question,is it true that aspirin can make his blood thin and make him bleed?
Answer Hi Again: Good question! You can give a dog asprin as long as it is not LONG term...
When a vet refers to long term asprin treatment, it would be an 81 mg baby asprin, 1 per day.
You kid should be fine with short-term ( 2-3 days) of asprin. If you want, call your vet and ask it you can give the 325 mg or a 81 mg asprin.
