Alternative Medicine for Pets/Doggie tail hair loss

QuestionA few days ago I walked out to the garage to wake my 15 yr old dog and found the top 4 inches of her tail completely hairless and bright red. The vet suspects she was bite by something poisonous (though they admitted it’s merely a guess). They have her on Cephelexon, Prednisone, and a topical ointment. There doesn’t seem to be ant visible cut, more of a blister like appearance. Do you have any suggestion of natural medicines I could be giving her? I want to do anything I can to save her tail. Thanks!!
AnswerEmily, Well, it could have been a spider bite? The Cephelexon should help with the infection.
I would get her on some supplements right away.
The NuVET Plus Immune System booster is a must.....
Will help to fight off the infection and Blast her Immune System...
She will need 2 per day - they are a wafer treat....
This is also great for Arthritis and Joint health.... Helps to prevent and reduce problems with the legs and joints.
Call Joan - She is at the office now - Ask for the 60 Day money back guarantee.... No risk....( NOT sold in stores)
Joan is with the Manufacturer and you will need to give her my name as your referring VET or Breeder / Marie Peppers 81098.
Call 1-800-474-7044 Ext 265 ( ask for Joan Harris, if she is not available, you can talk to any of the gals in customer service).
NuVET Will cost you about 1.20 per day. *** Ask for the 15 % off on auto ship/ no contracts and you can cancel at any time.
Also, I would start her on 200 IU of Vitamin E - ( just one per day)
There is some Vit E in the NuVET but she needs x-tra for about 6 weeks.
Nature's Sunshine sells a very good quality Vit E.
Need 2 per day because these are 100 IU each
