Alternative Medicine for Pets/ear mites

Question
I've noticed just recently that my cat has been shaking her head, scratching at her ear, and has brown residue in her ears, which leads me to believe it's ear mites.  Is there anything I can do for her at home?  I also have four other cats and a dog.  Should I treat them for ear mites as well or should they be alright?
Thanks so much,
Bre

Answer
Hi Bre - Since you have 4 other cats and a dog, I think a vet visit is in order.  Please see if it is mites and if there is any infection.
I can give you a recipe to make at home :  to keep the ears clean and free of mites....ONLY after you see the vet:  OK...

GET back to me with the Vet's diagnosis...

Talk to you soon!
