Question
My, sweet rottie, who just turned 10yrs. and acts like a very young dog yet, was just recently diagnosed with bone cancer in her rear left leg. We are devastated it was so unxepected, I thought it was her knee and was shocked with this horrible news. My vet sugested a possible bone biopsy to see what kind we are dealing with but I really don't want to put her through this painful process, other than chemo, radiation or amputation is there something else I can do for her, I really believe there has to be something out there besides these three options. I don't want her to suffer with pain. She is on a no grain dog food Innova Evo Red Meat, I just lost her brohter to spleenic sarcoma four in a half months ago, my heart is aching from losing him I can't loose her too, not yet. Please help me and thank you.

Dog food recipes for Cancer patients;  cooking for your dog with cancer:

Oh No!  I am so sorry about this.  Yes, Rottie dogs are very prone to cancer for genetic reasons.
I don't think there are many choices for this gal except the 3 options your vet mentioned.
I have seen older dogs do very well with 3 legs.  ( *it can be done even on a older dog)

If you want to talk canine cancer dog food recipes and supplements, I would be glad to help in that area.
Wish that I had more to offer you.

Let me know if you want the supplements and herbs.
